Today was an every day average Friday. Nothing exciting. So I went over to Frankels Costumes to pick up some stuff for the FX for my costume. I had a blast, I mean - a kid in a candy store! Anything you could possibly want for costuming and stage makeup / fx. Professional - Ben Nye and Mehron are my pals, let me tell you.
So, I'm going as a Plastic Surgery Accident. My bff is going to be the Scarecrow from Wiz of Oz and her hubby is going to be Dorothy. Mind you, he is over 6ft tall and a big guy. He's going to be one seriously handsome Dorothy, lol. I'll be sure to post pictures after tomorrow nights Spooky Soiree.
On the way home, I thought I saw Ben Folds getting onto a tour bus. Then I look up and see "Ben Folds" on the Warehouse Live billboard. Go figure!

My BFF and her hubby have invited me to his brother's annual Halloween party. I am stoked, as usual, since Halloween is my Xmas, per se. I usually start planning my Halloween costume in February, if not right after the party. This year I am thinking of a Plastic Surgery Patient gone wrong, with a slice from the corner of my mouth to my ear - able to see the insides of my mouth (thank you Tech Theater for 5 years). But my BFF thinks it will offend some of the Hostesses friends, since nearly all have had aesthetic plastic surgery and most do on a regular basis. Not that I am against plastic surgery, I'm not. I'm just not a snob. In fact, I am going to have a breast reduction next year. Going WAAAAAAY smaller from a DDD - it runs in the family even though we're thin. Believe you, me, Porn Star boobs are not my idea of attractive - just ask my shoulders and back. I'm also contemplating a rhinoplasty because, well you've gotta love that English and Irish nose, or not in my case. Anyway, my ADD kicked in - back to Halloween.. I think it would be funny, Hoity Toity bitches need to be made fun of too, right? They've built their high horses so high, most won't attempt the climb to knock them off. Hey, I'm adventurous, what can I say.
Now I'm off to shop for the rest of the day for the party essentials - like fake skin, spirit glue, lip plumper (for that Amanda Lepore look) and a cute pair of pj's.
It's cold here today. It was in the mid 80's yesterday, a cold front came through and now it is 58 outside. Now - it isn't cold like "Man, where's my parka?" cold, but Texas is very humid so it is wet-cold which drops the temp like 10 degrees. That is a huge drop from 85, pal.
So, off to shop I go. But I picked a cute outfit. Similar to this but not as pricey. Did I mention I love couture clothing, shoes and handbags? Oh, well I adore them.
